I have shifted my blog to pitas
I will be posting stuff there from now [ hopefully with a better update rate :) ]
Also by demand, I've added Haloscan commenting both to the new and this blog.

Just booted into the new 2.6.1 kernel (on my mandrake 9.2 laptop). :) it does feel a bit smoother but that could be my imagination. Afterall I haven't really done anything to test the features of the new kernel. sound and wireless worked as they say out of the box [well had to run drakconnect for conf n/w but big deal clicking next ... next ... a few times ;) ]
Simple "for dummies" instructions can be found at http://easymamecab.mameworld.net/html/mandrake.htm
Various tests on 2.6 are at http://www.infoworld.com/infoworld/article/04/01/30/05FElinux_1.html , thanks to /. for that one.
Don't forget to grab the latest module-init-tools 0.9.14 as of this writing. They load both 2.4 and 2.6 style modules.
On to kde 3.2 now ... it's release today. :) :)

So much to do and so little time,
I am always running behind.
She stays ahead, with an encouraging smile,
I never realize it's her cunning guile.
She brings each day, a promise new,
Opens up a window, a different view.
It takes me more time, only to realize,
The promises stack up, schedules don't resize.
Is there a place where you can buy some time?
All the more better if you get a day for a dime!
